We are looking to recruit a Level 1 Teaching Assistant to assist us in supporting and delivering learning until the end of the summer term 2020 (although there may be scope to extend this depending on pupil need). The ability to speak Welsh would be advantageous.
Ysgol Bro Pedr is located in the town of Lampeter, within the Ceredigion local authority. The school was one of the first 3-19 schools in Wales. The school was judged to be good in all aspects of the ESTYN report in 2016. In addition to a large mainstream SEN provision (including a Life Skills provision which caters for mainstream pupils with moderate educational needs) Canolfan y Bont, a county resource base for secondary aged pupils with severe and profound needs, is located on the school site. The successful applicant will need to register with the Education Workforce Council in order to be appointed to this post.
