About the role

Tregerddan Residential Care Home is looking to recruit a 30 hour per week, permanent cook to join their friendly team to help produce healthy and nutritious meals for the residents.

On a day to day basis you will:   

  • plan, prepare and serve meals to clients throughout the day and ensuring that their dietary needs are met;
  • jointly responsible for stock control and ordering supplies;
  • maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen at all times;
  • ensuring observance of Food Safety and Environmental Health standards.

The hours of work are on a 6-week rolling rota. You will be expected to work evenings and weekends. Enhanced pay will be awarded for any work undertaken on weekends.
