About the role

Dysgu Bro Ceredigion is looking to recruit a number of part-time sessional tutors to deliver classes and activities as part of our community based Adult Learning Programme.  We are looking for creative, innovative, dynamic tutors, who have experience and qualifications related to teaching adults, to join our team.

We are seeking enthusiastic tutors to support our learners to achieve their goals, develop new high quality courses and help expand our course offer, both in the classroom and online.  An interest in using technology to support learners is essential.

The amount of work you are offered will depend on the number and type of courses scheduled. A typical course could run over one, two, or three terms for up to two hours per week (day and/or evening classes) as well as occasional Saturday workshops. Please note that in some cases courses might not be viable due to low enrolments and may be cancelled.

We are particularly interested in applications from people with the appropriate skills and qualifications in the following areas:-

  • Essential Skills – Application of Number/Communications/ Digital Literacy
  • Employability Skills
  • Accountancy/Book-keeping/AAT
  • Health and Social Care
  • Art & Design
  • Upholstery/furniture restoration
