About the role

We are seeking to recruit full-time and part-time Night Care Assistants to assist us in supporting the residents of Ceredigion in our temporary facility, Enfys Fach. Whilst previous care experience is useful, it is not essential as full training will be provided to you. As a Night Care Assistant you will receive additional pay via a night allowance and will also receive enhanced annual leave. About the Care Assistant role

As a Care Assistant you will –

  • provide total care to clients according to daily routine as outlined in care plans devised in conjunction with clients and their families;
  • provide emotional support and reassurance to clients, particularly when they need to adjust to change/and or family crisis;
  • escort clients out of the establishment, e.g. Leisure trips;
  • enter daily records;
  • undertake cleaning, laundering and dining room service.

As a successful candidate you may on occasion be required to work weekends. In these circumstances you will be given enhanced pay.

A successful applicant without the required Welsh language skill will be fully supported to reach the required standard within two years of appointment.
