About the role

We are currently recruiting Relief Care Assistants to join us in providing supporting in our care settings. This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring and compassionate individual to join a friendly and dedicated team and make a real difference. As a relief employee you will join a pool of assistants and will have the freedom and flexibility to work on a basis that suits you.

The post has a pro-rata salary of £18,426 per year.

As a Relief Care Assistant you will:

  • provide total care to clients according to daily routine as outlined in care plans devised in conjunction with clients and their families;
  • provide emotional support and reassurance to clients, particularly when they need to adjust to change/and or family crisis;
  • escort clients out of the establishment, e.g. Leisure trips;
  • enter daily records;
  • undertaken cleaning, laundering and dining room service.
