About the role

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic ICT Support officer to join our ICT support team. As ICT Support Officer you will:

  • support ICT systems including servers, PCs, Laptops, iPads and other ICT equipment as needed;
  • act as first line support for users at the site and will be expected to support staff and pupils with their ICT issues;
  • have previous experience of ICT support and a good understanding of networks and IT systems;
  • apply logical and creative skills to support and develop systems;
  • be polite, approachable and have a can do attitude.

You will be expected to work predominantly at Powys Schools and will therefore ideally be based in the area in order that you can respond quickly to issues as required. You may on occaision be required to undertake duties at various locations within Ceredigion.

The ability to communicate effectively through the medium of Welsh and English is essential.
