As part of the continued development of the Corporate Service Support structure an opportunity has arisen for a new Senior Service Support Officer to be recruited.
The ideal candidate would have experience of working within an administrative setting, with a strong background in minute taking.
The role although based within the Corporate Service Support Team will primarily be providing support to Porth Gofal/Porth Cynnal, but will also be required to undertaken confidential minute taking across various departments including Children’s and Adults Safeguarding meetings. Experience in any of these areas would be beneficial to the successful candidate.
Due to the way the new service has been set up it this would a great opportunity to gain experience in a wide range of services throughout the Council, so if you like a varied and fast moving working day then this could be the opportunity for you.

We play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient management of the decision-making process of the Council, including support and advice to Councillors; PA, administrative and project management support to all service areas; facilitating elections; the communications team; translation and the Welsh Language policy officer. Our key functions include:
