About the role

The School and Culture service within Ceredigion County Council wishes to appoint an enthusiastic an appropriately qualified individual to lead the development of professional enquiry and research within our schools.

The co-ordinator will need to:

  • support schools in further developing a ‘School as a Learning Organisation’ approach embedding the principles of research, professional enquiry and collaboration as a basis for embedding improvement;
  • to be a link with the higher education sector to ensure collaboration for the benefit of the development of prospective teachers and school staff across their career;
  • to work with secondary schools specifically on further developing the requirements of a Curriculum for Wales at key stage 3.
