About the role

We are looking to recruit a motivated, friendly individual to work as part of a team that provides a great experience to everyone that visits our leisure facilities.

As a council we are embarking on an exciting journey which will see a number of our Leisure Centres become Wellbeing Centres and these roles provide an excellent opportunity to be part of that journey as we contribute to the promotion of positive health and wellbeing of our citizens.

As a Leisure Attendant at Aberaeron Leisure Centre you will be required to assist the manager in the provision of an efficient and effective service and on a day-to-day basis you will: 

  • Responsible for supervising all users of the centre
  • Assist with reception duties
  • To teach fitness and sports classes
  • Supervise the fitness suite and its users
  • Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the building

We are looking to recruit an individual:

  • Holds sports coaching awards
  • Experience of working with customers
  • Has a willingness to attend courses as required

Due to our opening hours you will be required to work evenings and weekends as part of a shift pattern.

In addition to the above, we require an individual with a degree of fluency in the Welsh language.
