We are looking for a number of motivated, friendly individuals to work as part of a team that provides a great experience to everyone that visits our leisure facilities.
As a Leisure Attendant / Lifeguard, based at Plascrug Leisure Centre, Aberystwyth, you’ll ensure the safety of our swimming pool users through lifeguarding duties whilst also supporting the day to day operation of our dry side facilities. Due to our opening hours you will be required to work evenings and weekends as part of a shift pattern.
As a council we are embarking on an exciting journey which will see a number of our Leisure Centres become Wellbeing Centres and these roles provide an excellent opportunity to be part of that journey as we contribute to the promotion of positive health and wellbeing of our citizens.
Whilst a valid Pool Lifeguard qualification would be an advantage, we will consider applications from people with the right qualities who have the capability of gaining the qualification prior to starting. We are committed to providing a bilingual service to our customers so we require individuals with a degree of fluency in the Welsh language.
