We seek to appoint a Teaching Assistant who will join an enthusiastic and dedicated team working within our Hafan unit with children with a variety of emotional needs. The post will be varied depending on the needs of the students. This post is full time 32.5 hours per week, term time only. Whilst students are working in the Hafan unit we would expect the successful candidate to support the students in undertaking portfolio-based qualifications. This would include BTEC qualifications in Work Skills and Personal and Social Development. In addition, the role would involve managing Cynydd course files and qualifications for students who attend our alternative curriculum provision.
The right candidate will enjoy working in a busy environment. You will be required to use your own initiative to ensure that students can access the curriculum and that they are making good progress in their learning. This is a role that would suit an ambitious individual who has a genuine interest in supporting students to meet their potential.
