We are seeking a Procurement & Payments Team Manager. The successful applicant will be directly involved in the critical steps of the procure to pay process, including the delivery of contracts and management of the Payments function. This post offers the opportunity to make a real difference to the Council through the delivery of contracts and frameworks providing value for money, and implementing new efficient and cost saving processes.
The post may be available as a Trainee Procurement & Payments Team Manager for applicants who are not CIPS qualified or already working towards qualification. In order to progress to the qualified role, the postholder must complete the CIPS Professional Diploma (MCIPS) within 5 years of commencement in the post.
