We’re recruiting for a Pay and Benefits Data Entry Clerk to join our busy People and Organisation service on a permanent basis, based at our Aberystwyth office.
Our People and Organisation service provides a wide range of services to the 3,500 people that work for us including HR, Pay and Benefits, Learning and Development and Health and Safety.
We are a forward thinking service with ambitious plans to improve the way we receive process and communicate information to our people.
We are looking for someone with exceptional attention to detail who can work to deadlines and be able to work efficiently as part of a small team. Ideally, you will have existing data entry or payroll experience or transferrable skills, however full training and support will be provided to the successful candidate in order to achieve those skills. You will have good computer skills and a desire to learn and develop, and previous experience in pay or financial systems would be advantageous.
The successful candidate must be customer focused, showing flexibility and commitment in order to meet monthly deadlines and timescales. You must also be a good communicator with the ability to deal with enquiries in both English and Welsh.

Flexible Workforce

Under the current COVID-19 situation, this post will be required to work from home until Council offices are reopened. We will also consider applications from individuals wishing to work from home on a more formal basis. The ability to work effectively from home, including good quality reliable broadband speed, is therefore an essential requirement for this post.
