We are looking to recruit a School Crossing Patrol Officer to join our Road Safety team.
The purpose of the post is to ensure the safety of children crossing the road, at a designated point, between specified times, without detriment to the welfare of other road users.
On a day to day basis you will:
We are looking to recruit an individual who is reliable, confident, a good time keeper and communicator, able to adapt quickly and appropriately to changing situations and who is confident working in the highway.
Someone with the ability to supervise children and show a caring attitude towards them, the ability to work without supervision and someone who is able to communicate clearly and pleasantly at all times.
In addition to the above, we require an individual with a degree of fluency in the Welsh language.
