About the role

We are looking to recruit a Corporate Lead Officer to join our ambitious leadership team on a permanent, full-time basis to lead and develop our Customer Contact and ICT services and undertake the statutory responsibilities of Senior Information Risk Owner (SIRO).

Key role responsibilities:   

  • Lead advisor to the Council for all matters relating to ICT, Data Protection and Customer Services  
  • To provide a key link with Corporate Directors and work with other Corporate Lead Officers in ensuring that strategic and corporate objectives are effectively co-ordinated and implemented across all service areas  
  • To undertake the statutory responsibilities of Senior Information Risk Owner (SIRO)

Our service has a range of responsibilities from providing advice and support to the residents of Ceredigion to providing corporate support via our ICT, reception and mailroom teams.  Our service is responsible for the following functions: 

  • Civil Registration: Birth, deaths and marriages.
  • Corporate Customer Services: Blue badge; Contact centre; Mailroom and scanning; Receptions.
  • ICT and Information Management: Archives and modern records; ICT support; Infrastructure and security; Project and application support; Reprographics, Technical support, Software development.
  • Library Services
