We are looking to recruit a Co-ordinator Individual and Family Support, to join our Parenting and Family Support Team, on a permanent, part-time basis.

The postholder will coordinate a ‘Whole Family’ approach and proactively develop multi-agency coordination of service provision to individuals and families within an Early Intervention context. The postholder will also be responsible for coordinating and supervising a multi-agency team of staff who will take lead professional responsibility for children, young people and their families.

On a day to day basis you will:

  • be responsible for coordinating appropriate services for children, young people and their families
  • provide regular oversight of progress of family action plans
  • liaise with relevant specialist health and education services to access resources and specialist services, and if appropriate, to assist with transfer to relevant specialist support where complex factors arise
  • providing supervision to staff within the Parenting and Family Support Team

We are looking to recruit an individual with:

  • excellent negotiation and communication skills to effectively engage with service users, families and partner agencies
  • the ability to supervise staff and volunteers
  • the ability to manage difficult situations and support service users who may be anxious and distressed at times
  • the ability to work in an inclusive way to promote equality and support an individual to meet their potential

Due to the requirements of the role, the successful candidate must have a level of Welsh fluency on appointment. Please see the person specification for the further details.
