We are looking to recruit a cleaner, to undertake the various cleaning responsibilities within our offices/buildings, to ensure that the offices/buildings is kept in a clean and hygienic condition. 

The Cleaning Service provides an essential service throughout the County of Ceredigion. The purpose of the role is to undertake cleaning tasks, providing a high standard of service ensuring a safe and hygienic environment.

Whilst experience and knowledge of Health and Safety would be advantageous, full training will be provided. Good communication skills are required.

All roles will require flexibility in terms of location, and hours worked which could include early mornings, evenings.

On a day to day basis the tasks will include cleaning, washing, sweeping, vacuum cleaning, emptying litter bins, damp wiping and dusting of designated areas (which may include toilet and shower areas) and fixtures and fittings, using where appropriate the necessary powered equipment.

We are looking for an individual who is motivated and enthusiastic about the nature of the work with a flexible attitude and able to carry out various duties with a variable work schedule.

Please note that a successful applicant without the required Welsh language skill will be fully supported to reach the required standard within two years of appointment.
