About the role

We seek to appoint a Finance Support worker to work with the Finance Manager in a busy office. The post will be varied and your key responsibilities be to support the Finance Manager in ensuring all financial systems and procedures in the school are efficient and accurate; to support members of staff in the school to ensure best value for money and efficiency; to support the school in running successful trips and excursions and to create a stream of income into the school.

The right candidate will enjoy working in a dynamic and very busy environment, when thinking on your feet is often required, using your own initiative whilst working alongside staff to ensure that all finance work is completed to a high standard. This is a role that would suit an ambitious individual who enjoys a very hands-on and multi-tasking approach to the working day.

This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate to play a key role in ensuring the positive promotion of the school, thereby contributing to the journey of Ysgol Penglais School in becoming an excellent school.
