About the role

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Corporate Passenger Transport Unit (CPTU).

The post holder will :

  • Undertake day to day management and supervision of the Social Transport Team
  • Manage the day-to-day operational issues which arise
  • Co-ordinate the provision of specialist transport for Social Service Clients and approved Voluntary Organisations travelling in and out of County, in accordance with Service Level Agreements including ensuring the most effective/appropriate mode of transport is provided
  • Represent the Authority at meetings and other events in relation to Social Transport / CPTU matters
  • Have the ability to work individually or as a team member and motivate and inspire others to achieve objectives
  • Support the wider CPTU functions as commensurate with the level of the post

Due to the nature of the post the successful candidate will need to hold a valid driving license and be subject to an appropriate Disclosure and Barring Service check.
