We are looking to recruit a Housing Standards Officer to join our Housing Service on a permanent full-time basis.
This post covers all aspects of the local authority’s duties related to private and public sector housing including the enforcement of housing standards throughout Ceredigion.
You will undertake a range of technical and specialist duties in relation to housing and housing related public health protection. A sensitive approach is required to deal with vulnerable clients, including disabled and elderly members of the community.

In addition to the above, we require an individual with a degree of fluency in the Welsh language. A successful applicant without the required Welsh Language skill will be fully supported to reach the desired standard within two years of appointment.
