About the role

Maternity Cover to begin in post November 2023.

We are seeking to employ an enthusiastic, committed and highly motivated teacher of Chemistry/Science to our successful department.

The successful candidate will be:

  • an outstanding teacher of Science
  • able to teach Science at KS3 and KS4 and Chemistry to A level
  • a team player with excellent communication and inter-personal skills
  • committed to raising standards and someone who has a measurable impact as an individual teacher

You would join a successful department which has achieved good results during the previous years and has attracted and maintained strong AS and A level groups. The department benefits from the use of 7 Science labs – two of which have undergone a complete refurbishment – and an ICT room. Science teachers are supported by an excellent and experienced laboratory technician.
