We are looking to recruit a dynamic and motivated individual to the role of Welsh Language Policy Officer at Ceredigion County Council on a full-time permanent basis.
You will be responsible for developing and coordinating plans to promote and raise awareness of the Welsh language internally, and with partners across the County to promote the Welsh language more widely by coordinating the “Dyfodol Dwyieithog” group incorporating innovative and creative approaches in order to influence and inspire others to join in the journey. From day to day you will also be responsible for providing effective guidance, support and advice to all Council services on strategic and policy requirements relating to the Welsh, and dealing any complaints received.
This post is based in Penmorfa, Aberaeron with the option to work partly from home. Ceredigion is one of the strongholds of the Welsh language in Wales, and this is an opportunity for an individual to lead and collaborate with other enthusiastic partners to ensure compliance and to further promoting the Welsh language in our county.
