Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and monitor ICT projects from initiation to successful completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meeting the highest quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with service delivery teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and obstacles, adapting strategies as needed to keep projects on track and overcome challenges.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an ICT Project Manager, successfully leading and delivering projects and managing system support within budget and schedule.
  • Solid understanding of ICT systems, infrastructure, and technologies, with the ability to make informed decisions based on industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to assess project risks and devise effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.

Our service has a range of responsibilities from providing advice and support to the residents of Ceredigion to providing corporate support via our ICT, reception and mailroom teams.  Our service is responsible for the following functions: 

  • Civil Registration: Birth, deaths and marriages.
  • Corporate Customer Services: Blue badge; Contact centre; Mailroom and scanning; Receptions.
  • ICT and Information Management: Archives and modern records; ICT support; Infrastructure and security; Project and application support; Reprographics, Technical support, Software development.
