We are looking to recruit a Transport Compliance and Monitoring Officer to join our Highways and Environmental Services service.
About the role
You will be helping to ensure that the Council meets its obligations as an Operator’s Licence holder by undertaking monitoring and auditing activities and delivering training to staff amongst other activities. You will also help support our Corporate Passenger Transport Unit to monitor School and Public Transport contracts and in the provision of appropriate transport related infrastructure and information.
You will also be a nominated Transport Manager on the Council’s Operators Licence.
About the candidate
We are looking for an enthusiastic and conscientious person with an eye for detail to join our Fleet Management team to support us in delivering an exemplar service.
The role offers opportunities for you to develop your skills and knowledge in the area of Fleet Management including being supported to undertake identified formal qualifications.
