About the role

The e-sgol project has been running since September 2018, with the innovative intention of supporting schools to collaborate on a hybrid model of teaching in order to expand the provision available to post-14 pupils. Over the past few years, this exciting project has expanded to all areas of Wales and now collaborates with over 40 schools.

Other successful elements of e-sgol include the Carlam Cymru program, which is a national revision scheme for GCSE and A level students; forming partnerships with the SEREN Network, the National Centre for Learning Welsh and Mudiad Meithrin as well as developing a scheme to connect Pupil Referral Units with neighbouring schools to provide mainstream courses for vulnerable pupils.

The North Wales e-sgol Leader will be a necessary link for North Wales schools and will offer training and support to teachers and their learners. Also, they will look for new and innovative opportunities to further expand the e-sgol provision.
