About the role

We are looking to recruit a Library Assistant – Stock Control, Aberystwyth, to join our Customer Contact service.

About the role

To be responsible for maintaining and developing the Ceredigion library service in Aberystwyth Branch Library. To include 4 days of working in Aberystwyth Library and 1 day working in the store. This can vary depending on work demands.

About the candidate

Whilst previous experience is useful it is not essential. Applications from candidates with little or no experience are welcomed. We will ensure you have all the training and support you need to confidently undertake the role.

The successful candidate will have a good general education and an interest in books. Knowledge and experience of using technology will be an advantage.

Due to the requirements of the role the successful candidate must have a level of Welsh fluency on appointment. Please see the person specification for the further details.
