About the role

Ceredigion Property Facilities Management Services are looking to recruit a full time Caretaker to assist with a full range of building facilities at the Council’s Offices.

The post holder will be expected to carry out a full range of hands-on duties. Overtime work to cover evenings and weekends may be required occasionally. This is partly a customer service role and requires a candidate with interpersonal and front-line communication skills.

You will need:

  • a well-developed sense of responsibility
  • to be able to work on own initiative as well as a member of a team
  • to be adaptable, self-motivated, able to prioritise tasks, articulate and communicative, outgoing, and pleasant
  • an awareness of Health and Safety issues
  • a current UK driving licence
