We are looking for an individual with strong leadership skills to lead and motivate staff. The post holder will be solution focused and have experience of working in a fostering service.
As a Team Manager you will actively manage, lead and promote the Fostering Service, ensuring the growth of in-house Foster Carers, Supported Lodgings and When I’m Ready provision through focused and targeted recruitment and retention activity. To manage the operational activity of the Service, embedding best practice throughout. To promote professional standards by developing outcome-focused teams that understand their contribution to the Service and the wider success of the Through Age, Wellbeing strategy.
You will be responsible for service delivery, the development of a range of policy and procedures to enable the team to deliver a high standard of service to our carers. You will have experience of managing change with the ability to challenge mediocrity.
Applications are welcomed from candidates with a Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification, with post qualification experience of working as a social worker in Children’s Social Care and who are registered with Social Care Wales.
