An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Authority’s Complaints and FOI team as a Complaints and FOI Officer.
About the role
You will be required to assist the Complaints and Freedom of Information Manager with the handling and investigation of complaints and FOI requests. You will provide support and assistance to the Manager and Officers across all service areas of the Authority.
You will coordinate responses to Complaints and FOI requests and be able to deal competently with enquiries from members of the public and colleagues, as well as assist with requests from both the Information Commissioner’s Office and the Public Service Ombudsman for Wales.
You will also have strong interpersonal skills and will be able to work flexibly to assist in ensuring the Authority works within its statutory obligations. You will assist with the delivery of all aspects of complaints and FOI work including internal training programmes and learning events.
Applicants should be able to communicate effectively in Welsh.
