Join our busy Health and Safety Team!
As an integral part of the team, you will provide a proactive and responsive health and safety service, using experience gained in previous health and safety related roles.
You will support the health and safety team through the provision of expert support and advice. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help support all Council employees to consider and mitigate risks involving all aspects of health and safety management.
As the lead contact and advisor for Educational and Adventurous activities for Team Ceredigion, this post will require you to use your knowledge and experience of the health & safety legislative requirements in order to support the planning, risk assessment and implementation of educational visits, residential outings and adventurous activities for children, young people and adults.
Using excellent communication skills, you will offer support & guidance to those planning activities including schools, educational providers and internal council services for example, youth services. You will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring the EVOLVE system and communicating across all stakeholders involved in the provision of these activities.
This post is temporary, maternity leave cover. Secondment may be considered for existing council employees.
