About the role

Ysgol Uwchradd Aberteifi is bilingual community school, with over 630 students on roll, including a lively sixth form. We are seeking to appoint two dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistants to join our supportive and dynamic team.

The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to support pupils’ learning across the school, providing both in-class assistance and targeted support where needed. You will help create a positive, inclusive environment that enables all learners to achieve their full potential.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting teaching and learning in the classroom
  • Assisting pupils with additional learning needs
  • Helping to prepare resources and maintain an engaging learning environment
  • Promoting positive behaviour and inclusion

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is committed to supporting young people’s learning and wellbeing
  • Has good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Can work effectively as part of a team
