About the role

We are looking to recruit Environmental Operatives to join our busy Waste Collection Service on a Relief basis, based at our Penrhos Depot, Llandysul. 

There is an opportunity to join the Local Environment team providing frontline collections of recycling, food waste, residual waste and glass and street cleaning activities.

On a day-to-day basis you will:

  • load refuse and recycling materials onto vehicles as required
  • empty litter bins
  • carry out the physical activities required – to include lifting, sweeping, stretching and bending
  • be required to work outside in all weathers

We are looking to recruit individuals who have:

  • experience of physical / manual work
  • experience of working in a team environment
  • experience of lone working
