My role as Senior HR Assistant in Ceredigion County Council is extremely rewarding, not only is there an excellent benefit package with the Ceri+ schemes but I am able to work flexibly to fit around childcare as well as enabling me to have a good work life balance.

My Story:

I started as an Administration Assistant in HR and have been able to progress my career seamlessly into my current role as Senior HR Assistant, with plenty of other career progression opportunities available in the future. My manager is very supportive in career development and there are many courses available for free within the council that I am encouraged to participate in for my own career and professional development. My job is challenging which keeps my brain active and enables me to use and develop my problem solving and communication skills in English and Welsh and it is very rewarding when you know you’ve accomplished all tasks by the deadline.  I am part of a hardworking dynamic team who make it fun and a pleasure to come into work every day
