The Council have been very supportive and assisted me to further my education and obtain a degree in Health and Social Care, an NVQ in Management and Leadership as well as learn Welsh!
I moved from the West Midlands to Ceredigion in 2001 and started working with Ceredigion County Council as a clerk in the Finance Department. I was promoted to administrative assistant for 3 Senior Managers and in November 2002 I gained a further promotion into my current role as Team Manager – Intake & Integrated Operations Coordination.
The team deals with enquiries and referrals to social care including adult and child protection so the work is very varied and interesting with no two days being the same.
