Important: Coronavirus

We are committed to ensuring the safety of our communities and employees. In light of current circumstances, we have decided to suspend all shortlisting and interviewing activity. As a result of this decision, the application closing date for most of our jobs has been extended until 30 April 2020. There may be key jobs which are excluded from this arrangement to help support our ongoing response.

Please visit our Coronavirus FAQ page for more information.

Our museum, archives and libraries bring unique value to Ceredigion. They are at the heart of our communities and are trusted and well regarded by the people of all ages who use them.

Our museum and archives are located in Aberystwyth. We have libraries in Aberystwyth, Aberaeron, Cardigan and Lampeter. We also provide a mobile library service. There are therefore opportunities right across the county.

Employee Stories

In a small authority you get to know lots of colleagues and form good working relationships; in my experience it’s not like some vast and impersonal business, it’s a real community of individuals who employ their skills and their integrity to deliver good services to the people of this county.
