About the role

Canolfan Meugan is a welcoming resource base day centre for adults with learning disabilities, based in Cardigan. We are looking to recruit a caring, enthusiastic, and motivated Support Worker to join our dedicated team.

This rewarding role involves supporting individuals to access community facilities and activities, develop independent living skills, and work towards personal goals identified within their individual care and support plans. You will play an important part in promoting independence, wellbeing, confidence, and social inclusion.

The successful candidate will have a positive and flexible approach, excellent interpersonal skills, and a genuine commitment to supporting adults with learning disabilities to achieve their full potential.

A full driving licence is essential, as the role includes driving social transport vehicles to support service users within the community. Full training, ongoing support, and regular supervision will be provided.

Flexibility is required, including occasional evening and weekend working to meet the needs of the service.
