About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and experienced Children’s Registered Manager to oversee and manage a small residential service for children and young people. This is a chance for a strong, motivated leader to shape the future direction of establishing this new provision.

As the Registered Manager you will lead and direct your team to ensure the highest quality care is provided. We are committed to providing the very best we can for every child and young person, to support them to grow and reach their full potential.

To undertake this permanent, full-time, rewarding role we require a knowledgeable, dynamic and emotionally intelligent individual who can use their previous experience, skills and understanding of children’s residential care, and organisational skills to ensure the home thrives.

As our Registered Manager, you will be required to demonstrate practical leadership skills, expert excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a demanding environment whilst ensuring all current legislation’s and policies and procedures are followed. You will be a Manager who can use your own initiative, lead a team to greatness and use your skills to move the service forward.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about promoting a child centered approach to practice, have a solid career history in children’s residential care, including previous registration with CIW. You will have a proven track record of managing a successful service and be working towards or hold a Level 5 qualification in leadership and management.

Whilst we are seeking Individuals with a degree of fluency in the Welsh language. We welcome applications from non-Welsh speakers.
