This is an exciting, term-time only opportunity to join the Parenting and Family Support Team in Ceredigion and make an important contribution to the lives of families and children.
A Social and Emotional Wellbeing Support and Training Officer post has become available in Ceredigion.
You will be attached to the Flying Start catchment areas and work closely with staff offering advice and guidance to Flying Start Childcare settings and the wider team – including staff from other agencies – both statutory and voluntary.
Your aim will be to allow pre-school children the opportunity to develop through attending high quality childcare settings and develop language skills.
You will be expected to offer advice and guidance to nurseries and childminders to improve the quality of their provision and practice.
You will also be monitoring quality and delivering training to childcare settings and ensuring improved outcomes for children and support them during transitions.
Due to the requirements of the role, the successful candidate must have a level of Welsh fluency on appointment. Please see the person specification for further details. Information on learning or improving the Welsh language can be found here.
